Madison Butchko
Yale College
Madison is a senior at Yale College, majoring in Physics and East Asian Studies. At Yale, Madison serves at the president of Society of Physics Students and Her Campus. She values expressing herself through writing, playing piano, and her artwork. Madison also has a plethora of hobbies, including reading, doing calligraphy, long distance running, and writing her own recipes.
Claire Cizdziel
Columbia University
Claire Cizdziel is a senior at Columbia University studying electrical engineering. This is Claire’s third year working with the Global Teaching Project as a Teaching Assistant. Apart from tutoring, Claire leads the High Altitude Balloons mission in the Columbia Space Initiative and performs with the China Dance team. Additionally, she enjoys creating new projects in the Columbia Makerspace and exploring New York City. Claire is originally from Oxford, Mississippi.
Maria Dolan

Maria Dolan is a third year at the University of Virginia studying Computer Science and Neuroscience on the Pre-Medical Track. This is Maria’s first year working with the Global Teaching Project as a Teaching Assistant for AP Biology. At UVA Maria is also involved in Best Buddies and the Honor Committee. Outside of school, Maria enjoys spending time with friends, skiing, and reading!
Maggie Dykstra

Maggie Dykstra is a third year at the University of Virginia double majoring in Cognitive Science and Computer Science, with a minor in Data Science. In addition to working with the Global Teaching Project, Maggie is involved in research at the Darden School of Business and serves as a student consultant for SEED consulting. This is Maggie’s first year at GTP, and she is excited to be a Teaching Assistant for AP Computer Science Principles.
Lydia Francis

Lydia Francis is a third year at the University of Virginia studying Biomedical Engineering. She is also pursuing a minor in Computer Science and Engineering Business. This is her third year tutoring for the Global Teaching Project. She has worked in research labs for most of her college experience, and enjoys running and reading in her free time. Lydia has always loved playing soccer and is from Pittsburgh, PA.
Priya Gupta

Priya Gupta is a senior at Columbia University studying Earth and Environmental Engineering and Computer Science. This is Priya’s first year working with the Global Teaching Project as a Teaching Assistant. Apart from tutoring, Priya is part of the Residence Hall Leadership Organization. Additionally, she enjoys bouldering and trying new restaurants in New York City. Priya is originally from Dover, Delaware.
Aidan Healy

Aidan Healy is a junior at Yale studying philosophy and literature. This is Aidan’s first time working with GTP. He will be tutoring AP Biology. Outside of GTP, Aidan also tutors debate and social science courses to middle school and high school students. In addition to tutoring, Aidan likes to read, workout, play rugby, and talk to people. He is from Boston, Massachusetts.
Carson Hill

Carson Hill is a sophmore at Georgia Tech studying Physics and Computer Science. He is originally from Brandon, Mississippi. This is his second year working with the Global Teaching Project as a Teaching Assistant for AP Computer Science Principles and AP Physics 1. In addition to tutoring, Carson enjoys math, programming, chess, photography, video editing, and graphic design.

Elliot has an extensive tutoring history and his passion lies within the intersection of computer science and education—his coursework and research lies in this field. He loves going to the gym, discovering new albums, and being involved in Greek life at UVA.

Wyatt Kremer

Wyatt Kremer is a senior at Yale University pursuing a double major in Intensive Physics and Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations with an Advanced Language Certificate in ancient Egyptian. This is his fourth year with the Global Teaching Project as an AP Physics 1 Teaching Assistant, and he is excited to share his passion for finding the elegance within the equations and why it is powerful to have this raw understanding of the natural world. In his efforts to expand the physics community, Wyatt has served as a Co-President for the Yale chapter of the Society of Physics Students and board member of the undergraduate student advisory committee. He has broad interests in quantum gravity, field theory, string theory, quantum many-body systems, and quantum information. Additionally, he loves collecting rocks and minerals as well as hiking. Wyatt was born and raised in Minden, Nevada.

On campus, she is a Case Associate for the Harvard Consulting for the Business and the Environment and a Community Junior Director for the Harvard Association for US-China Relations.

Numa Maryam is a junior at the University of Mississippi studying Biology and Spanish. This is Numa’s second year working with the Global Teaching Project as a Teaching Assistant for AP Biology. On campus, Numa serves a senator and ambassador for the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College. In her free time, she likes doing arts and crafts, watching movies, and spending time with friends. Numa is originally from Oxford, Mississippi.

Travis Montgomery is a sophomore at the University of Virginia studying Computer Science and Data Science. Carlos Negron is a fourth-year student at Vanderbilt University studying Mechanical Engineering. This is his fourth year working with the Global Teaching Project as a Teaching Assistant for AP Physics. Over the summer, he worked as a Process Engineering Intern at Medtronic. He has an interest for mechatronics, instrumentation, and robotics. Additionally, he enjoys playing tennis, running, and video games. Carlos is originally from Coamo, Puerto Rico.

Varshini Odayar is a recent graduate of Harvard College, where she studied Neuroscience and Social Anthropology with a secondary in global health and health policy. She is an incoming MSc Student in Media Medicine, and Health at Harvard Medical School. She is a student EMT and co-founder of the health magazine, Health Righters. She has years of teaching experience and is eager to work with GTP!

Apart from tutoring, Claire is the captain of the Yale Gymnastics Team and just finished an internship where she helped develop LLM based control for a robotic arm. Outside of school, she enjoys watching the sunset and traveling. Claire is originally from Fremont, California.
Ainsley Raymond

Ainsley Raymond is a senior at Cornell University studying Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Public Policy, and this is her second year working as an AP Computer Science Principles teaching assistant. Ainsley works as a research assistant at the Virginia Center for Housing Research where her work focuses on affordable housing, and she is also an aerodynamics engineer for Cornell Racing. As the child of a military family, Ainsley has lived all over the world, but Blacksburg, Virginia is the place she calls home.

Janani is a recent graduate of Harvard College where she studied Applied Mathematics. On campus, Janani worked on social science research, served as the Blog Chair of The Harvard Crimson, and taught dance to elementary schoolers through CityStep.
