Our 2026-2027 GTP Teaching Assistants

Global Teaching Project Welcomes 2026–27 Teaching Assistants

The Global Teaching Project is proud to welcome its Teaching Assistants for the 2026-27 school year!

This year’s group brings together talented college students and recent graduates from leading universities across the country, including Yale, Dartmouth, Harvard, the University of Virginia, Howard, Notre Dame, the University of Illinois, Mississippi State University, and the University of North Carolina, among others.

These outstanding Teaching Assistants bring expertise across STEM fields, including physics, biology, computer science, engineering, and statistics. Working with GTP’s Advanced Placement (AP) classes both virtually and in person, the Teaching Assistants help students tackle challenging material, deepen their understanding, and prepare for success in college.

Just as importantly, GTP Teaching Assistants provide mentorship and guidance beyond the classroom. They help students navigate college applications, financial aid, and the transition to college life—opening doors for students in rural and underserved communities who might otherwise have limited access to such guidance.

We’re excited to welcome this year’s Teaching Assistants and look forward to welcoming many more to the GTP team in January, when our second-semester classes begin.  With more students set to benefit from GTP’s programs, we are committed to continue working to expand access to advanced coursework and college opportunities across Mississippi.

Thank you to all our wonderful Teaching Assistants for their dedication to GTP students!
