On the road with GTP: 10+ schools in three days!

Over 10 schools. Three days. One big reminder of why we do what we do.

There’s no substitute for being there.

GTP staff hit the road for an action-packed three days of school visits across Mississippi, connecting with students, teachers, and school leaders in the communities we serve.

We visited more than 10 schools, including Holmes County High School, Humphreys County High School, Yazoo City High School, Amanda Elzy High School, and Greenville High School.

And we came away energized.

Being there in person is a big part of who we are at GTP. We believe in meeting our schools where they are — in their classrooms, in their communities, and alongside the teachers and students who make our work possible.

These visits give us the chance to listen, learn, celebrate progress, and see firsthand how our programs are making a difference. They also remind us that behind every AP course, every lesson, and every new opportunity is a community of students working toward a brighter future.

We’re proud to be on this journey with them, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Here’s to showing up, staying connected, and opening more doors for Mississippi students!
